On the eve of the New Year, an important event took place in Tursunzade – the gold medals of the champions of the Tajikistan football championship were awarded to the athletes of the backup team of the “Regar-TadAZ” team.

The award ceremony, which was held at the “Shirkent” Hotel, was attended by Vice President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Alisher Urunov and Director General of the Football League of the country Saivali Shokurbonov. The leaders of the country’s football department congratulated the understudies of “Regar-TadAZ” on the well-deserved title of champions of the Tajik Major League tournament among understudies and wished the team success in the new football season.

As noted on the official website of the FFT, according to the results of the championship of Tajikistan among the youth teams of the top league, Tursunzade “Regar-TadAZ” under the leadership of Farkhod Kholbekov held 22 matches, in which he won 19 victories, drew one meeting and was defeated in only two matches, while the goal difference was 80-19. The top scorer of “Regar” in the youth championship was Ibrahim Zokirov, who scored 19 goals.

It should be noted that “Sardor 2008” company is a sponsor of the backup team of the football club “Regar-TadAZ”. Presenting a letter of thanks to the management of the “Sardor” company, the manager of  FC “Regar-TadAZ” Goibali Dalatov noted that the team’s victory in the youth championship was ensured, among other things, by the support of the “Sardor 2008” company.
